Administrator controls included in the launcher

The launcher package now includes the missing administrator components and their connection to the live server.

  • The installer and launcher download now include the components needed to connect authorized administrator controls when starting the game.
  • Administrator controls now connect through the live website using an encrypted connection. Normal player accounts do not receive administrator access.
  • The helper waits for the launched game window to be visible and responsive before connecting. Existing supported-game and administrator authorization checks remain in place.
  • The existing /godmod and /godmode commands use this administrator connection. Administrator gameplay advantages continue to disable match rewards.
  • Install the updated launcher, then restart the game through it to load the added components. This release was compiled and published without an in-game test, at the server owner's request.

Improvement

Persistent sign-in and a fuller player directory

Website sign-in lasts longer, new registrations include an email address, and staff can search players and open detailed account records.

  • Website sign-in is retained for 30 days and renewed during use. Refreshing a page or a server restart no longer clears the saved sign-in. Sign in once again after this update to start the new session.
  • Signing out revokes the saved session. Password changes and active account restrictions continue to invalidate access.
  • New website registrations require a valid email address, stored with the account. Existing accounts without a recorded address remain marked as unknown; email verification and email sending are not included.
  • Staff can open the player directory, search by username, player name, email or account number, and view account details in a dialog.
  • Recent registrations show explicit usernames and email addresses. Player details include recorded registration and authentication times, total play time, progression and combat counters, and paginated stored match reward history.
  • Only recorded history is shown. Missing historical dates, email addresses and match details remain unknown; a last authentication time does not mean that a player is currently online.

Improvement

Smarter downloads and clearer community updates

The launcher receives smaller updates, shares the website update journal, and the staff dashboard shows recent registrations and their recorded sources.

  • The new launcher checks existing files and downloads only what changed. For supported large files, it can reuse unchanged parts instead of downloading the whole file again. A fresh installation still downloads the files it needs.
  • Verified downloaded parts are kept for retrying interrupted updates. Downloads are checked before installation; a complete file download remains available when partial downloads are unsupported.
  • Launcher news now follows the same published update journal as the website, in the selected English or Turkish language. Download the new launcher once to receive these improvements.
  • Staff analytics now lists the latest 50 registrations with account status, registration time, first visit and registration source, referring website, campaign labels, device category and page language when recorded. Earlier missing information is shown as unknown, and tracking opt-out preferences are respected.
  • Update notes will now be published together when a release goes live. Local development will no longer create separate public preview entries; existing published history is preserved.
  • Automatic WolfTeam backups have been disabled. Old backups were removed, leaving one previous complete recovery copy.

Room passwords and Player Info

This follow-up improves protected-room entry and viewing another player's information from a room.

  • Double-clicking a protected room now opens the password entry dialog. Entering its correct password allows entry, while an incorrect password is rejected.
  • Player Info opens correctly when viewed from a room. The information window was checked in the game from an administrator account viewing a normal player.
  • Room passwords remain required for administrator accounts as well.
  • Update your launcher to receive the protected-room password fix.

Release 382: fair-play rewards and more reliable item use

This release brings together reward, item-use, room, Player Info, special-wolf sound and launcher repairs.

  • Administrators playing normally can qualify for the same Gold and XP rewards as other players. Administrator gameplay advantages keep the whole match in training without progression rewards. Existing participation requirements and daily limits remain; no past match reward was manually credited.
  • An ordinary multiplayer match finishes when only one human remains, including departures between rounds. Intentionally solo starts and bot training keep their existing behavior.
  • A verified room-menu Player Info repair addresses an unrelated readiness warning when viewing another player. Isolated tests cover ordinary and administrator accounts and Turkish names; the actual Info window still awaits in-game acceptance.
  • Overlapping Lucky Box openings, Gold coupon uses and supported package openings preserve the correct quantities, rewards and durations in isolated tests. With one item remaining, only one use succeeds. The tested failed package grant leaves the package and its contents unchanged.
  • The client pack restores the missing special howl choices for Lin Meiling SE and the related SE wolf family using the existing ice-wolf sound. Standard wolves and the other existing sound choices are preserved.
  • The updated launcher includes the supported-client fix for administrator accounts skipping the protected-room password prompt. Guarded isolated checks passed, and the server still requires the correct room password.
  • English remains the default. The optional Turkish pack now includes the missing Deathmatch description about playing against every other player, and exact switching back to English was verified.
  • A complete backup recovery check passed in a separate test world. Automatic backups remain prepared and inactive; this release does not activate a backup schedule.
  • The new reward and item flows, Player Info window, password prompt, fresh-launch behavior and special-wolf sounds still await in-game acceptance after this update. Earlier player tests confirmed mode entry and TEAM SIZE; completion of every mode has not been certified.

Local trial: fair-play rewards, room passwords and special wolf howls

Local repairs address administrator participation rewards, matches left with one player, missing SE wolf howl choices and a skipped password prompt.

  • Administrators playing normally can now qualify for the same Gold and XP rewards as other players in local tests. Using administrator gameplay advantages keeps the match in training. Existing participation requirements and daily limits remain.
  • An ordinary multiplayer match now finishes when only one human remains, including departures between rounds. Tests preserve intentionally solo starts and bot training.
  • The local client pack restores the missing special howl choices for Lin Meiling SE and the related SE wolf family, using the existing ice-wolf sound. Standard wolves and the other existing sound choices are preserved. In-game listening acceptance is still pending.
  • The updated local launcher includes an approved-client compatibility fix for administrator accounts skipping the protected-room password prompt. Guarded isolated checks passed; the actual in-game prompt and fresh-launch behavior still need player acceptance. The server continues to require the correct room password.
  • These are local previews. Public release 381 remains in place during player testing. These repairs and the updated launcher have not been deployed publicly; no past match reward was manually credited.
