Two currencies, zero price tags

WolfTeam Legacy runs on two currencies: Gold and Wolf Coin (WC). Neither one is for sale. There is no cash shop, no top-up page and no paid boost waiting behind a credit card form. Every Gold coin and every WC in your account has to be earned inside the game, which is exactly why the ladder means something here.

Your starting package

Every new account begins the same way: Recruit rank, 5,000 Gold and the standard starter gear. On top of that, your first session comes with a welcome package waiting in the in-game Gift Box: the C-95 SL weapon for 7 days plus a 10,000 Gold boost to your balance. Claim it once, equip it and you walk into your first match with a real opening loadout. No referral links, no streams to watch, no payment — just show up and open the box.

Where Gold comes from

Gold flows from eligible PvP matches. Each UTC day, your first completed matches pay the highest reward tier, the next block pays less, and after the daily allowance the tier reaches zero. That limit affects rewards only — you can keep playing as long as you like, the meter simply stops climbing.

On top of the per-match tiers, two automatic goals add bonus Gold: a daily objective for your first few rewarded matches and a weekly milestone that resets on Mondays. Both are tracked for you automatically; there is nothing to opt into and nothing to claim by hand.

Where WC comes from

Wolf Coin is earned in the same eligible matches and spent in its own shop. There are no WC purchases with real money, no Cash top-ups and no retroactive grants — the shop is strictly earned-only. WC products lean toward cosmetics and sidegrades: looks, alternate weapon variants and character items that change how you present yourself more than how much damage you output.

What makes a match eligible

Rewards need real, fair matches. Both teams should start with a fair headcount, you need to be there from the beginning — joining a match that is nearly over does not qualify — and the match has to complete legitimately. Solo bot training is a fine way to warm up, but training awards no Gold, GP, WC or goal progress. If you want the meter to move, queue into real rooms with real opponents.

Reading your receipts

Everything the economy pays you is itemised. The progression page on the website shows your current balances, the last seven days of rewarded matches, recent reward receipts and exactly which daily or weekly tier comes next. In game, the /progress and /matchstatus commands give you the same picture without leaving the lobby. If a match you played did not credit, that page is the first place to look.

Why earned-only matters

Most shooters let money buy reload speed, damage or an outright power tier. Here, equipment bonuses are small and category-limited, weapon damage profiles differ by at most a couple of percent, and Gold alternatives exist for every WC gameplay item. A Recruit with a week of play behind them is not walking into a wallet-shaped wall. The scoreboard measures routes, aim and teamwork — because those are the only things it can measure.

A simple routine that pays

If you want to earn efficiently: play a handful of focused matches on fair teams rather than one long session, finish the matches you join, and check your progression page afterwards to see which tier you reached. Ten honest matches a day out-earn a hundred abandoned ones, and everything you bank stays yours because you played for it — not because you checked out.
