Every game builds its own language, and WolfTeam Legacy — the classic shooter played on Wolfory — speaks a dialect all of its own: Gold, WC, GP, Prides, callsigns, AI-Deathmatch. Veterans toss these words around in every lobby while new players are left guessing. This glossary ends the guessing. Every definition below matches the wording the game and the Wolfory website actually use, so you can treat this page as the shared reference for the whole community.

Gold — the currency you earn

Gold is the backbone currency of WolfTeam Legacy. You start with 5,000 Gold, you earn more by finishing eligible matches with fair starting teams, and the automatic daily and weekly goals on your progression dashboard add extra payouts. You spend Gold in the in-game shop on weapons, characters and gear — either permanently or for timed 1, 7 and 30 day periods. Gold is never sold for real money; on Wolfory, power is earned, never sold.

WC — Wolf Coin, the earned second currency

WC stands for Wolf Coin, the second currency. Like Gold it is earned by playing: eligible completed player-versus-player matches pay WC, while bot and solo training sessions never do. The WC shop focuses on cosmetic flair and weapon sidegrades, with its own tabs in the shop. If a shiny finish or an alternative weapon feel catches your eye, Wolf Coin is what it costs.

GP — the road to your next rank

GP is the progression you earn from completed matches. It fills the bar toward your next rank, and every new account starts at the bottom of that ladder as a Recruit. Play, finish matches fairly, and your rank climbs. The rankings guide on this blog explains the leaderboard and ladder points in depth.

Prides — the clans of WolfTeam Legacy

A Pride is a clan: a named group of players who play, grow and climb the rankings together, where a strong Pride is visible proof of a strong pack. The Prides directory on the Wolfory website is searchable, so you can look a group up by name before you ask to join.

Callsigns and account names

Two names matter. Your account name is what you log in with — one account works on the launcher, the website and the game, and it can be up to 20 characters. Your callsign is the name other players see in rooms and on scoreboards, and it can be up to 14 characters. Choose both carefully; they represent you in every lobby.

AI-Deathmatch — the training grounds

AI-Deathmatch rooms fill empty slots with AI opponents that hosts add at EASY difficulty and remove again. They are the perfect place to warm up your aim, test a new weapon or practice wolf movement. One honest rule: training pays nothing. AI and solo matches do not award Gold, GP, WC or goal progress — real progression comes from real matches against real players. The bot match training guide on this blog turns that warm-up into a fifteen-minute routine.

Channels, lobbies and rooms

The journey into a match always runs the same way: pick a server, enter a channel, walk the lobby and join or create a room. The room host controls the title, an optional password, the map, the mode and the win conditions, and can even the teams with /balance. A ready check (/readycheck) lets everyone signal they are set before START is pressed.

The shop and the mailbox

The shop is where Gold and WC turn into gear. Timed items expire when their 1, 7 or 30 days run out; permanent items stay forever. Next to the shop sits your mailbox: new accounts receive a one-time Gift Box from LEGACY carrying a C-95 SL rifle for 7 days plus 10,000 Gold. Claim it within 90 days — the "Welcome to Wolfory!" message is delivered only once.

Wolf words

WolfTeam Legacy would not be WolfTeam without the wolf. When your transformation is charged, you can leave your human form behind for a temporary wolf body with its own strengths in melee and survival. The wolf transformation guide on this blog covers forms, timing and tactics; the controls guide covers the keys.

The words you type

Half of the community language is typed. /help lists commands, /rules shows the house rules, /readycheck polls the room, /balance lets hosts even the teams, /progress shows your goals, /matchstatus tracks the running match, and /modes explains the mode families. Type them exactly like that, slash first.

Keep this page close

Bookmark the glossary and share it with every recruit you meet. When you are done reading, the Field Manual on the site and the other guides on this blog — maps, modes, economy, controls, security — will take you from fresh account to seasoned pack member. See you in the lobby.
