Few things ruin a good match faster than a teammate who works against the team: someone idling at spawn, insulting the lobby or openly cheating. The 30 October 2026 update gives Wolfory players a direct answer for exactly these situations. In-match kick voting is now live: during a match, eligible players can start a vote to remove a disruptive teammate from the room, and the majority decides.

The Kick Vote ticket

Starting a kick vote consumes a Kick Vote ticket. The ticket sits on the shop's utility shelf next to items like Respawn Time Zero, costs 1,200 Gold each, and tickets stack: buy several in advance and they stay in your inventory until you use them. One valid vote start spends exactly one ticket; casting your Yes, No or Abstain vote afterwards costs nothing.

The shop card still carries the classic "1 to 3 times per round" wording from the original game. Today's server enforces a clear version of that rule: each account can start up to three kick votes per match.

How to start a vote

Kick voting only runs inside a live match round, and it only targets teammates: you cannot start a vote against the opposing side, and bots can neither be voted out nor vote. At least four players need to be in the match before a vote can start — the client itself reminds you that "Kick Vote is only available to use with over 4 players."

When you start a vote you pick a kick reason. The game offers four: illegal program, exploit bugs, bad language and the others. Pick the one that matches what is actually happening; the reason is shown to every voter.

How the vote works

Once a vote starts, every eligible player has about ten seconds to answer. The vote window uses three keys:

- Y to agree - N to disagree - H to abstain

A player is only removed when a majority of the eligible voters agrees. If the timer runs out, players who never answered count as abstentions, so silence never removes anyone by accident. When the majority is reached, the target leaves the room and everyone sees the result; a failed vote simply returns the match to normal.

Limits that keep votes fair

The rules are deliberately tight so the system cannot be abused:

- Only a teammate can be targeted, never an opponent. - Each account can start at most three votes in one match. - There is a waiting period of about a minute between two attempts, so votes cannot be spammed. - A removed player must wait 15 seconds before rejoining the same room.

Together these limits make the kick vote a shield against griefers rather than a weapon against strangers.

Room controls around the match

The same 30 October maintenance also tightened the controls around the match itself. Room rank restrictions are now enforced correctly and show the proper rejection message when someone is below the limit. A room owner can remove a player before the match starts, and the removed account waits the same 15 seconds before returning to that room. Chat mutes now also survive reconnects and server restarts, and lifting a mute reliably restores chat.

Fair play, match by match

Wolfory's promise is that power is earned, never sold — and a fair room is part of that promise. Use the kick vote for the cases it was built for: cheaters, idlers and abuse. For everything else, the tools you already have go a long way: the room rank limits and ready checks from the room settings guide, the chat command toolkit, and the report path in the game guide when a problem needs staff attention.

The full official note for this change lives on the updates page at wolfory.com/updates, right next to the room-and-chat-controls entry from the same day. See you in the arena — with cleaner rosters than ever.
