A fresh WolfTeam Legacy account does not start empty. New players join at level 1 with 5,000 Gold in their pocket, and a sealed Gift Box is delivered to the in-game mailbox automatically when you first start playing. This guide is about that box: what is inside, exactly how claiming works, how long you can safely wait, and what happens if something goes wrong mid-claim. The short version: the package is genuinely free, it is issued exactly once per account, and it is worth claiming on day one.

What is inside the welcome package

Open the Gift Box and you will find two things. First, the C-95 SL: a solid starter weapon assigned to your account for 7 days. Second, a 10,000 Gold bonus that is credited straight to your balance the moment you claim. The gift arrives with a message from the server itself — the sender line reads LEGACY — that says: Welcome to Wolfory! C-95 SL (7 days) + 10,000 Gold. Power is earned. Never sold.

Together with your starting 5,000 Gold, that is 15,000 Gold of purchasing power and a ready-to-use weapon before you have played a single round. Nothing in the package sits behind a paywall; on this server nothing is sold for real money at all. The welcome pack simply gets you into a real match faster.

How to claim the Gift Box

Claiming takes under a minute. Install the game through the Windows launcher, log in with your new account and reach the lobby. Open the in-game Gift Box — the mailbox where deliveries land — and you will see the welcome package with the LEGACY sender line. Select it and claim it. Two things happen at once: the C-95 SL appears in your inventory, and your Gold balance jumps by 10,000. Open the inventory afterwards, equip the C-95 SL on your red or blue loadout, and take it straight into a room.

There is no level requirement, no quest chain and no code to redeem. If you can read this page, you can claim the box.

The 90-day window and why claiming early still matters

The welcome gift is patient but not immortal. It stays claimable for 90 days from the moment it is delivered to your mailbox. Let it sit past that and the delivery expires — and an expired welcome package is gone for good, because the gift is issued exactly once per account. Reconnecting, reinstalling or logging in from another PC will not bring it back.

One detail worth knowing: the 7-day lifetime of the C-95 SL starts when you claim it, not when the gift is delivered. Claiming on day one does not burn item days while you read guides or sort out your settings. Claiming early still wins, though: every match you play with a real weapon teaches you more than matches spent with the basic knife.

What if the claim fails halfway

Claims are transactional on the server. The weapon grant, the 10,000 Gold credit and the claimed flag are written in a single database transaction. If your connection drops at exactly the wrong moment, the whole claim rolls back instead of half-completing: you keep the gift, your balance is untouched, and you can simply claim again. The same guarantee works in the other direction — a completed claim cannot be repeated. There is exactly one welcome package per account, and once it is claimed, no retry, reconnect or reinstall will produce a second one.

When the C-95 SL runs out

Seven days pass quickly. Treat the C-95 SL week as a test drive: try its handling on the maps you enjoy, work out which weapon family suits you, and let your match rewards accumulate in the background. When the license ends, the Gold you earned is waiting to fund your first real purchase — a longer-duration or permanent weapon of your own choosing. The box gives you a comfortable start; everything you keep after it is what you earned.

Is the welcome package really free? Yes. There is nothing to buy on this server — the gift, like every other item, is paid for with playtime.
